We Too Are Called To Be Apostles

Or click here.

Run Time: 7:27.  Epistle: Wisdom 5:1-5; Gospel: John 14:1-13.

I apologize for this being late.  This was recorded May 11th during the Extraordinary Form.

… the challenge in our day (because we too, in a certain equivocal sense) are also to be apostles.  Apostles of Christ spreading the Good News in our own particular way, through our own particular vocation.  That the challenges that we face in doing that are really not that much unlike what the apostles faced.  Times have changed, technology has changed, but human nature remains the same.  So on this day, when we celebrate Easter, when we celebrate the memory of the holy apostles Philip and James.  Let us ask them with all confidence to renew within us, through the resurrection the grace to remain faithful to Christ, who is our Lord and Savior.
